Test Preparation

ACT, SAT, and SSAT prep, one student at a time

Private tutoring with master’s-level instructors, starting from a practice test that shows precisely where your student is losing points…and time!

Private test prep

$150 / hour

One-time $99 registration fee per student. Sessions are one-on-one with a master’s-level tutor.

How it works

A simple process that starts with real data.

1. Start with a practice test

Take a full practice test at home. We analyze the results and send a report on your student’s test-taking tendencies and where points and time are being lost, usually within 48 hours.

2. Get a plan

The results help you choose between the ACT and the SAT. We match your student with a master’s-level tutor and build the plan around their strengths and gaps.

3. Practice with feedback

Private sessions cover how the test is designed, strategies for each question type, and plenty of authentic practice questions, with regular practice tests to track progress.

What parents say

“Mrs. Caskey and her team of phenomenal tutors helped my son increase his ACT score from 24 to 30 in a matter of months. Not only was he able to get accepted into the highly competitive NC State’s College of Design, he learned invaluable test-taking strategies that he will be able to use for the rest of his academic career.”

Jennifer T., parent (Google review)

“We engaged one of the popular national SAT prep services, but they raised her score by only 40 points… When she took the SAT again, her score improved by 150 points! I cannot speak highly enough of the tutoring and test preparation provided by Biltmore Tutoring.”

Kirk B., parent (Google review), after switching from a national prep service
