As students prepare for their summer SAT, ACT, and end-of-year AP exams – as well as work through online classwork – we are finding that they need more support and not less. So how does a student get the help they need in the time of coronavirus and social distancing?
What we’ve been doing at Biltmore Tutoring is something that we’ve done with students all over the US and in fact, the world, for many years. Tutoring online, face to face with your own private tutor, is incredibly effective.
We’ve been transitioning most of our students to Zoom for tutoring purposes right now, in anticipation that Raleigh may mandate a ‘shelter in place’ order for North Carolina. Students at home, working on their own….without tutoring or classroom support…that could be a recipe for disaster.
But this time of uncertainty is also an incredible opportunity for students to rise above their peers and to perform exceptionally well on AP tests, ACTs and SATs, and even on their classroom material! We know. We’re helping students do this kind of tutoring right now, and it works.
